Heritage Food Group’s Natural Environmental Seafood is only raised in rivers, streams and oceans. None of our seafood is farm or pond raised. The key advantage is that our seafood is higher in the desirable Omega 3 fatty acids. Most farm raised fish have low levels of Omega 3, but show a large increase in the plant oil Omega 6. They obtain this high level of Omega 6 from concentrated pellets they are fed, thereby delivering a lower standard of product.
